Montale Red Aoud perfume, introduced in 2008, is one of six fragrances in the Montale collection. Three of these fragrances belong to the Aoud collection, while the other three are part of the regular house perfume line.

The spicy-woody composition begins with a combination of agarwood and pepper. Legends abound about agarwood oil, the meaning of which is that this oil is endowed with magical powers capable of attracting love and material wealth... The heart of the composition is dominated by saffron and cumin, with light shades of rose. The base is woven from a trio of orris root, sandalwood and fragrant golden vetiver.
